(103**) Jeden jediný příběh z minulosti, současnosti a budoucnosti

Dnes (story in the present tense):

Je pondělí. Třetího září. Je mi 6 let a dnes jdu poprvé do školy. Vstávám v 7 hodin. Snídám. Maminka mi dělá kakao, které mám děsně ráda.

Je to vlastně můj nejoblíbenější nápoj. Piju ho každé ráno. V půl osmé nasedáme s maminkou, tatínkem a bráchou Ivanem do auta. Ivan už chodí do práce. Ale dnes jde do práce později, protože chce být u toho – chce být se mnou v tento památný den. Nevím, proč všichni říkají, že je to tak důležitý den. Já se jen těším na nové kamarády. Školka je fajn, ale škola je prý lepší!

O 30 let později (story in the past):

Bylo pondělí. Třetího září. Bylo mi 6 let a v tento den jsem šla poprvé do školy. Vstala jsem v 7 hodin. Nasnídala jsem se. Maminka mi udělala kakao, které jsem měla (/mívala) děsně ráda. Byl to vlastně můj nejoblíbenější nápoj. Pila jsem ho každé ráno. V půl osmé jsme nasedli s maminkou, tatínkem a bráchou Ivanem do auta. Ivan už chodil do práce. Ale v tento den šel do práce později, protože chtěl být u toho – chtěl být se mnou v tento památný den. Nevím, proč všichni říkali, že je to tak důležitý den. Já jsem se jen těšila na nové kamarády. Je pravda, že školka byla fajn, ale nakonec byla škola lepší!

O dva roky dříve (story in the future):

Bude pondělí. Třetího září. Bude mi 6 let a v tento den půjdu poprvé do školy. Vstanu v 7 hodin. Nasnídám se. Maminka mi udělá kakao, které mám děsně ráda. Brzy to bude můj nejoblíbenější nápoj. Budu ho pít každé ráno. V půl osmé nasedneme s maminkou, tatínkem a bráchou Ivanem do auta. Ivan už bude chodit do práce. Ale v tento den půjde do práce později, protože bude chtít být u toho – bude chtít být se mnou v tento památný den. Nevím, proč všichni říkají, že to bude tak důležitý den. Já se jen budu těšit na nové kamarády. Školka je fajn, ale škola prý bude lepší!

    Ahoj,
30 let pozdeji, she is looking BACK to her first day in school, so she uses the past tense.

drive, she is looking to the future, to the day when she WILL GO to school. Therefore she uses the future tense.
    I hope this helps.

business, mother, polyglote

I am slowczech founder and from my experience I know two things: beginners can understand words with time. And enjoyable input is vital for natural language acquisition. Many give up Czech due to old methods, irrelevant vocabulary or overwhelming grammar. Let’s change that and make learning Czech exciting and effective.
