Overview
Your grammar-overloaded brain is saying enough! Let's connect the right grammar dots and start speaking with more calm and flow!
The more you study Czech, the more lost you feel.
All those grammar things make less and less sense:
- the obviously not alive “sněhulák” ☃️ is in Czech masculine animate, treated as a living person when declinating, whaaat?!
- where and where to? kde a kam? it can be locative, accusative, instrumental… who knows this?!
- začneme versus začínáme, where one letter changes the verb from perfective to imperfective?
And slowly, you are drowning in this grammar ocean.
And you are less and less able to actually do what you wanted from the beginning:
… to speak with people!
When you want to react to a Czech person, instead of just saying it, your brain starts overheating, trying to figure out the right grammar to use.
And you end up disconnected
- from the conversation
- from the Czech people
- from that feeling like “I belong here and I feel like part of Czech society and Czech culture”.
What if you could do both?
Understand the grammar AND speak Czech with Czechs…?
… without pausing for ages
… without feeling embarrassed by your low ability to use what you know
… and without switching to English?
Introducing 21 DAY GRAMMAR CHALLENGE!

🔴 How can grammar help you speak?
Because we are adults.
And we have this big advantage that we already know one or more languages.
So let’s use our knowledge, let’s build on it, let’s connect Czech grammar to what you already know.
And most importantly, let’s start using it!
Because you can speak Czech with what you know!
Yessss, you CAN react without hundreds of grammar through during every conversation.
You just need to
- un-fog your brain,
- and organize the grammar mess by prioritizing the very minimum and putting aside what is not serving your speaking!
This is what the grammar challenge is here for!

🔵 Who is behind this course?

To je Eliška,
slowczech founder and leader, who has been passionately guiding foreigners towards speaking in real life in both, offline and online settings since 2018.
“I didn’t start slowczech to teach you more grammar and words. I had it when learning French and German. I knew so much from school, my head would explode with der, die, das, deren, and constantly revisiting the rules—Instead of reacting to the person in front of me. And my French? Oh mon dieu, with B2 knowledge my grammar was better than native speakers’. But I just couldn’t speak with them! What was the point?
Grammar challenge is a mix of “I want to understand essential Czech grammar but I mostly want to speak.” This is what this course is about: helping you believe that you can react in Czech and stay in a Czech conversation.”
Tak co ty na to?
(what do you say?)

❓ You might be wondering...
Q: What level do I need for Level 1?
False beginner → upper intermediate. If you already know some Czech words, understand simple sentences, or have studied a bit but can’t use it yet, Level 1 is perfect.
Q: Is this course for total beginners?
Not really. If your Czech is only “Dobrý den,” the challenge will feel too fast. You need at least a tiny base.
Are the videos hard to understand?
The grammar explanations are in English, the examples are in slow, simple Czech. You’ll always know what’s happening.
Q: Are the lessons connected?
Ano! Each day builds on the previous one, giving you structure, clarity, and repetition that sticks.
Q: Does the course help with speaking?
YES and that’s the point.
You’ll speak out loud every day, answering questions in mini-dialogues.
Q: Will this make grammar finally “click”?
If you practise out loud, then YES. If you only watch videos silently,.. ehm… not so much 😉
Q: What if I don’t like it?
A 14-day guarantee is here for you. Within 14 days after purchase, write to contact@slowczech.com and we will refund you.

Instructor
I am slowczech founder and from my experience I know two things: beginners can understand words with time. And enjoyable input is vital for natural language acquisition. Many give up Czech due to old methods, irrelevant vocabulary or overwhelming grammar. Let’s change that and make learning Czech exciting and effective.
