For learners who want to learn Czech by speaking it!
... not by memorizing endings, flipping textbooks, or overthinking rules.
You want to:
✅ Learn the language as Czechs actually speak it
✅ Hear real, normal sentences you can reuse znovu a znovu a znovu
✅ Be able to react without pausing and thinking for 10 seconds
Without:
❌ boring textbook dialogues and lifeless phrases
❌ passive podcasts where you never say a word
❌ the fear of sounding silly
Learn normally, naturally, like a human — not like a language robot.
Because you don’t want to “study” more.
You just want to speak more.
This mini course is here to do this for you:
Help you practice Czech out loud, with your own voice.
So your brain stops translating… and starts finally responding!!

What’s inside?
This isn’t a course full of grammar theory or robotic phrases.
It’s 5 real-life audio stories from Eliška’s life – with tons of questions woven into each one.
You’ll listen to short, personal, sometimes funny adventures… and YOU will take part in them.
Each story includes:
real Czech with natural (yet still slower) speed and clear pronunciation
passive questions (A/B style to train your brain and mouth answer without overthinking)
active questions (open questions to practise again, differently, more)
phrases and words that Czechs use (with informal endings, yetp,… and phrases that people actually said to Eliška)
answers you can steal and reuse in your own life
no transcript needed, you just PRESS PLAY AND SPEAK… but you get one anyway 🙂
What are the stories about?
These aren’t grammar drills disguised as stories 🙂 They are real moments from Eliška’s life… hopefully the kind that make you laugh, nod, or think “Oh, I can relate!”
So, what you’ll hear (and speak about):
🚆 trip to Prague… and a surprise swimming pool adventure
🚴 cycling trip gone a little disaster (20 years ago in the Czech mountains)
💪 random Czech guy reacting to Eliška’s sporty-mom workout
👟 to write

Why it works?
Speaking Czech is not just in learning words and following chapters.
It is mainly about your Czech speaker mindset and also,… it is just physical 🙂
In this course, you’re training:
✅ speaking muscles
✅ pronunciation rhythm
✅ listening-response reflex
✅ trust in your own voice
You’ll get used to hearing, thinking, and answering.
Feel silly. Sound awesome. Speak Czech anyway.
How it works?
Put on your headphones
Press play
Listen to a real story
Answer when Eliška asks you something (yep, you get few seconds + the immediate answer)
Feel prouf. Laugh. Repeat. Get better.
You can do it on a walk, at the gym, cooking dinner, or hiding in the bathroom for 5 minutes of peace (if you also have kids 😉 ).
No book. No screen. Just your ears and your voice.
And if someone hears you answering questions out loud in Czech while walking down the street?
TO JE DOBŘE!!! That means it’s working. And you ARE FINALLY SPEAKING! 💪 Well dooooneeee!
What you get in detail?
5 high-quality MP3 audio stories (8–12 mins each)

Bonus PDF with full transcript and questions and answers
Lifetime access to all files

One goal: help you speak Czech without pressure
"Words just came out!" catch yourself thinking, "and it felt amazing!"
Is this for you?
ANO, if you want to actually speak and practise speaking, not just collect words
ANO, if you want to understand Czech better AND use it
ANO, if you want to feel proud of speaking, even with mistakes
ANO, if you want your Czech to feel more you and less like a robot/textbook/”should learn this way but it is not working”
⚠️ Not for total beginners.
You’ll need to understand some Czech already. You need to be like “I understand more than I can say”. On the other hand, if you have no problems understanding Czechs and reacting in conversatons, these audios will be too easy for you.
The stories use real Czech, not textbook language, but still slow, clear, and doable.
You’ll hear natural expressions and chunks, just like Czechs actually speak 🙂
Each story is balanced: about 60% listening, 40% active speaking.)
Not overwhelming. Not too long. Just enough to help you feel like “I can do it, I can speak Czech! Wow!”

To je Eliška,
slowczech founder and Czech language tutor, has been passionately guiding foreigners in both offline and online settings since 2018.
Who designed this course?
Her journey into teaching was inspired by her own experience of learning German, leading her to create slowczech audios in 2016 initially as a hobby.
During this period, she was living in France with her husband, who dreamt about buying a Defender, while Eliška herself wanted to travel the world. In 2018, they embarked on an exciting six-month European road trip. This adventure culminated in a life-changing decision: relocating to the Czech Republic and dedicating herself full-time to teaching Czech to foreigners.
Eliška switched very quickly to the effective teaching philosophy of slow, comprehensible Czech speech. Finding traditional language schools lacking in fulfilling her vision, she created slowczech. This platform not only enhances the learning experience for students but also empowers tutors, celebrating the collective accomplishments and growth within the language learning journey.
Takže? Let's recap:

I am slowczech founder and from my experience I know two things: beginners can understand words with time. And enjoyable input is vital for natural language acquisition. Many give up Czech due to old methods, irrelevant vocabulary or overwhelming grammar. Let’s change that and make learning Czech exciting and effective.
