Here are some things that I've never seen before and which work surprisingly well for the process:
Vendy uses a shared Google Document which she fills during the process. She puts lecture materials, examples and some of our errors there, so it's easy to revisit specific parts that we may forget.

No need to pause and wait — Vendy listens to you and makes corresponding examples and edits in the Google doc.
